When students are encouraged to be open about their use of AI, they are more likely to use it in ways that enhance their learning rather than ways that circumvent it.

Perhaps the most compelling argument for AI in the classroom is its potential to act as a personalized tutor. Smarter AI use involves leveraging these models to provide differentiated instruction. By framing AI as a personal assistant for learning, schools can help students build the self-regulation skills necessary to navigate a world where AI is ubiquitous.
